Child Safety Standards
Standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation
SunnahSwipe is an adult-only Muslim matchmaking app. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, trafficking, or any conduct that endangers children.

1. Scope and Eligibility
These standards apply to SunnahSwipe, including our website, mobile app, matchmaking features, user profiles, photos, messages, reports, support channels, moderation systems, and related services. SunnahSwipe is only for adults who are at least 18 years old. Minors may not create accounts, appear as users, or use SunnahSwipe for matchmaking.
If we learn that an account belongs to a minor, depicts a minor in an unsafe or sexual context, or is being used to exploit, contact, groom, or endanger a minor, we may remove content, suspend or terminate accounts, preserve relevant information, and take other action described below.
2. Zero-Tolerance CSAE Standards
SunnahSwipe prohibits all CSAE. CSAE includes content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children. This includes, but is not limited to:
- CSAM or any sexualized image, video, illustration, or generated content involving a minor.
- Grooming, sexual solicitation of minors, sextortion, coercion, blackmail, or sexual threats.
- Trafficking, recruiting, transporting, advertising, or facilitating exploitation of a child.
- Requests for nude, sexual, or exploitative content involving anyone under 18.
- Sharing, requesting, praising, normalizing, or linking to CSAM or CSAE content.
- Attempts to move CSAE conversations to other apps, websites, phone numbers, or offline meetings.
- Impersonating a minor, lying about age to contact minors, or helping a minor evade safety rules.
- Any conduct that may sexually exploit, abuse, threaten, or endanger a child.
3. Reporting and User Feedback
Users can report safety concerns in the SunnahSwipe app through available report and block tools, including the "Report User" flow on user profiles and conversations. Reports are confidential and may result in the reported account being blocked, reviewed, restricted, suspended, or removed.
Users and non-users can also report child safety concerns by emailing [email protected]. Please include the account email or phone number, reported profile name if known, screenshots where appropriate, and a clear description of what happened.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
4. Review, Moderation, and Enforcement
We may use manual review, automated systems, user reports, account signals, profile information, message context, device data, and other available information to detect, investigate, and respond to CSAE or CSAM. We may remove content, disable features, block users from contacting each other, suspend accounts, permanently ban accounts, and preserve relevant information for safety, legal, and enforcement purposes.
We may also prevent banned users from returning, cooperate with app stores and service providers, and take action against accounts that attempt to evade enforcement or retaliate against reporters.
5. How We Address CSAM
CSAM is illegal and strictly prohibited on SunnahSwipe. When we obtain actual knowledge of CSAM or suspected CSAM on our service, we will take appropriate action, which may include:
- Removing or disabling access to the content.
- Suspending or terminating the accounts involved.
- Preserving relevant account, content, and report information where legally appropriate.
- Reporting to appropriate child safety organizations, law enforcement, or legal authorities where required or appropriate.
- Cooperating with lawful investigations and requests from competent authorities.
6. Compliance With Child Safety Laws
SunnahSwipe is committed to complying with applicable child safety laws and regulations. We do not allow minors to use the service, and we prohibit users from using SunnahSwipe to create, upload, store, share, request, facilitate, or promote illegal child safety content or conduct.
7. Prevention and User Education
We encourage users to report suspicious behavior quickly, avoid moving unsafe conversations off platform, protect private information, and stop communication with anyone who pressures, coerces, threatens, or attempts to exploit another person. Our broader safety expectations are described in our Terms and Conditions.
