1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of SunnahSwipe, including our website, mobile app, waitlist, matchmaking features, messaging, subscriptions, support, and related services. By creating an account, joining the waitlist, purchasing a subscription, or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use SunnahSwipe.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use SunnahSwipe.
• You must be legally allowed to use the service in your location.
• You must provide accurate account, profile, and verification information.
• You may not use SunnahSwipe if we previously removed or banned you unless we give written permission.
• You may not use SunnahSwipe on behalf of someone else or create an account for another person.

SunnahSwipe is designed for intentional matchmaking. You are responsible for making sure your use of the service aligns with your legal, personal, religious, family, and community obligations.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for your account and all activity under it. Keep your login credentials private, promptly notify us of unauthorized access, and keep your profile current and truthful. We may require verification before granting access to certain features, continuing your account, or responding to sensitive requests.

4. Community Safety Rules

SunnahSwipe must remain a respectful space. You agree that you will not use SunnahSwipe, or information obtained through SunnahSwipe, to harm another person online or offline.

• No threats, intimidation, coercion, blackmail, extortion, stalking, doxxing, or encouraging self-harm or violence.
• No harassment, bullying, hate speech, religious abuse, sexual pressure, degrading comments, or repeated unwanted contact.
• No sexual exploitation, human trafficking, grooming, abuse of minors, non-consensual sexual content, or revenge porn.
• No scams, fraud, money requests, investment schemes, impersonation, catfishing, fake identities, or misleading intentions.
• No sharing another person's photos, messages, contact details, location, workplace, family details, or private information without consent.
• No using matches to recruit for unrelated services, political campaigns, spam, multi-level marketing, or commercial solicitation.
• No discrimination or hateful conduct based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sect, gender, disability, age, or other protected status.
• No uploading illegal, violent, graphic, hateful, nude, sexually explicit, or otherwise harmful content.
• No attempts to bypass blocks, bans, reports, moderation, rate limits, or safety systems.
• No conduct that creates a risk of physical, emotional, financial, reputational, or privacy harm to another person.

5. Dating and Offline Safety

SunnahSwipe can help introduce people, but we do not control users or guarantee anyone's character, background, intentions, compatibility, religious practice, marital status, or safety. You are responsible for your interactions and decisions.

• Use caution before sharing your phone number, address, financial information, workplace, family details, or travel plans.
• Meet in public places, tell a trusted person where you are going, and arrange your own transportation.
• Stop communicating with anyone who pressures you, asks for money, threatens you, or ignores boundaries.
• Report suspicious, unsafe, or inappropriate conduct through the app or support channels.
• In an emergency or immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.

6. User Content

"User Content" means anything you submit, upload, post, transmit, or make available through SunnahSwipe, including profile text, photos, prompts, preferences, messages, reports, and feedback. You retain ownership of your User Content, but you grant SunnahSwipe a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, transmit, moderate, translate, create technical copies of, and use your User Content as needed to operate, improve, promote, secure, and enforce the service.

You represent that you have the rights needed to provide your User Content and that it does not violate law, these Terms, another person's rights, or our community standards. We may remove or restrict User Content at any time.

7. Messages and Private Communications

Private messages are intended for respectful matchmaking conversations. You may not copy, publish, screenshot, forward, sell, threaten to expose, or misuse another user's private communications or profile information without consent. We may review messages and related activity when needed for reporting, moderation, safety, legal compliance, fraud prevention, or service integrity.

8. Prohibited Technical Conduct

• No scraping, crawling, indexing, harvesting, or mass exporting user profiles or messages.
• No reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to access non-public code, systems, or APIs.
• No malware, spam, phishing, credential theft, denial-of-service attacks, or security probing without permission.
• No automated account creation, bot activity, fake engagement, or manipulation of matching systems.
• No interference with the service, our vendors, or another user's ability to use SunnahSwipe safely.

9. Matching, AI Features, and No Guarantees

SunnahSwipe may use algorithms, AI, preference inputs, user activity, and other signals to recommend matches or generate Soul Selections. Match suggestions are informational and do not guarantee compatibility, marriage, religious suitability, background accuracy, mutual interest, safety, or any particular outcome. We may change, limit, or discontinue matching features at any time.

10. Subscriptions, Purchases, and Refunds

Some features may require payment. Prices, billing periods, trials, renewals, and included features will be disclosed at purchase. Purchases made through app stores are handled by the applicable app store and may be subject to that store's terms and refund rules. Unless required by law or stated at purchase, fees are non-refundable. We may change paid features or pricing on a going-forward basis.

11. Reports, Enforcement, and Account Removal

We may investigate suspected violations using reports, content review, automated tools, account signals, device data, and other information available to us. We may warn, limit, suspend, remove, ban, or refuse service to any user at any time if we believe it is appropriate to protect users, SunnahSwipe, or the public.

Serious violations may be reported to law enforcement or other appropriate authorities. We may preserve information related to harmful conduct, even after account deletion, when needed for safety, legal compliance, fraud prevention, or enforcement.

12. Intellectual Property

SunnahSwipe, including our name, branding, designs, text, software, features, graphics, logos, and other materials, is owned by SunnahSwipe or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the service as permitted by these Terms. You may not copy, sell, modify, or create derivative works from the service unless we give written permission.

13. Third-Party Services

SunnahSwipe may link to or rely on third-party services, such as app stores, payment processors, analytics providers, SMS providers, email providers, hosting platforms, maps, or identity verification tools. We are not responsible for third-party services, and their terms and privacy policies may apply.

14. Disclaimers

SunnahSwipe is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, security, uninterrupted operation, and matchmaking outcomes. We do not conduct exhaustive background checks on every user unless a specific feature says otherwise.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SunnahSwipe and its owners, employees, contractors, partners, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, opportunities, or relationships. Our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to SunnahSwipe in the three months before the claim or 100 US dollars.

16. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SunnahSwipe and its owners, employees, contractors, partners, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your use of the service, your User Content, your interactions with other users, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or another person's rights.

17. Termination

You may stop using SunnahSwipe at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account, remove content, restrict features, or discontinue the service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including safety rules, ownership provisions, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, dispute provisions, and enforcement rights.

18. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update SunnahSwipe and these Terms as the service evolves. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Your continued use of SunnahSwipe after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where SunnahSwipe is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless applicable consumer protection laws require otherwise. Any disputes must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction unless we adopt a separate dispute resolution process in updated Terms.
